... for all things Zac!
This involved having to rush around like a mad-woman before my meeting to get ready for that AND the show. I had on 2 layers of clothes... the top layer came off after my meeting, but before seeing Zac. The bottom was easy --- a skirt over a pair of shorts. No one could even tell! The top... a little trickier... but I made it work! No one could tell it wasn't part of my master plan all along... Hehehe...
So, besides going the wrong way for a short distance and getting there even later cuz of it, I DID get to see Zac play a few songs. Literally... a FEW songs. It was pretty loud in the place, with all the conversation among the restaurant's customers. I know his music well enough, though, that I could pretty easily follow along.
Since it was in a restaurant and I was uncertain of the chances of getting any decent pictures, I left my camera in my car --- so no pics this time... not a single one! Not even one of me and him... which I'm kicking myself for today. Although, the FOUR hugs I got do kind of console me a bit. Hehe... He's a great hugger, too. Either that, or I'm just partial. Nahhh... that can't be it. He must be a great hugger.
Anyway, it was such a great laid back kind of show that it was just kinda like a bunch of friends hanging out, playing music. Zac DID play about 6 songs that I got to hear... then let a couple of others play a song or two to close out the show...
The songs I got to hear Zac play were: Big Red Balloon, Any Bridge Worth Building, Workin' Man Blues, If It Wasn't For The Whiskey, I Gotta Quit Drinking (after making fun of himself for playing that song immediately after "If It Wasn't For The Whiskey"... hehehe), and by popular demand, Emily. It was all acoustic... just him and the guitar. With a voice and style like his, who needs more? I could have sat and listened for hours. Maybe someday I'll get that opportunity...
What? A girl can dream, can't she? Hehe...
